Larita Yusuf

Litigation Associate

Larita Yusuf is an experienced litigator and a registered patent attorney. As an intellectual property attorney, she has helped creators secure design patents with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and the African Regional Intellectual Property Office (ARIPO) and their original works with the U.S. Copyright Office. She earned a Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law and a B. Sci. in Biology from Francis Marion University. While in law school, she worked as a federal judicial intern in the District of South Carolina and as a patent legal intern at a boutique intellectual property law firm in North Carolina. She is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Ms. Yusuf has experience as a patent examiner at the USPTO and served as an Attorney Facilitator for North Carolina Central University’s Intellectual Property Bootcamp, leading intellectual property education workshops. As a lover of performing arts and a children’s book author, Ms. Yusuf is passionate about protecting and defending the works of creators.

Ms. Yusuf applies her knowledge of intellectual property and her litigation experience to strategically enforce her clients’ intellectual property rights.
